Steve Stein

Steve Stein was a staple of Staten Island league and tournament bowling, establishing himself as one of the area's accomplished competitive bowlers through years of consistent high-level performance.

A regular in many of the area's top leagues and tournaments, Steve earned numerous league and tournament victories while competing throughout Staten Island and the metropolitan area.  His scoring ability was equally impressive, recording multiple perfect games and 800 series and consistently maintaining averages among the area's leading bowlers.

Steve's competitive career also extended beyond the local lanes.  He joined the Professional Bowlers Association in 1986, testing his game in professional competition while remaining an active presence in Staten Island bowling.

In addition to his accomplishments on the lanes, Steve gave back to the sport as a member of the New York Bowling Association Board of Directors, contributing his time to the organization and the bowlers it served.
