Timothy McAuliffe, Jr.

Timothy McAuliffe, Jr. has been one of Staten Island’s most accomplished tournament bowlers, combining sustained high-level performance with an exceptional record in the Staten Island USBC Masters Championship. Tim captured back-to-back Masters championships in 2012 and 2013, becoming the event’s first multiple-time champion. He continued to contend regularly in the years that followed and, in 2024, captured an unprecedented third Masters crown at Rab’s Country Lanes. To win the demanding double-elimination event, he bowled a tournament-record 17 games and defeated defending champion and fellow Hall of Famer Jeff Sciré twice in the championship round, including a 222–178 victory in the deciding game. Tim was inducted into the Staten Island USBC Hall of Fame for Superior Performance in 2020, one year after his mother, Laurie McAuliffe, was inducted for Meritorious Service. Together they became the first mother-son combination inducted into the Staten Island USBC Hall of Fame.
